Amen, Amen
Oh, what a world you have
From to the peaks to the depths
The light and the dark
You existed before all things
For it is from you all things come
You are great
How intricate your care
All the processes and means
All according to your will
To the great things of stone
Bulwarks of strength and time
To the streams of water, giving life
The depths of the seas
The heights of the clouds
All according to your glory
The power of storms
The sweetness of breeze
Quickening of Spirit
The giver of all things
Before the foundations
You chose us
How compelling you are
The Truth of all things
Bringing light to the darkness
Taking what had become stone
Replacing it with flesh
Giving us new life
But not of our merit
But by Your grace
For saving faith
Oh, great creator
How you are three in one
Father, Son, Spirit
You are all in all
Immutable and Righteous
Holy, Holy, Holy
How Holy you are
Completely other and set apart
You reveal Yourself to us
Through every blade of grass
Every bubble in water
Each cell of the flora
The heavens speak Your name
The birds sing Your praises
The insects show Your intricacies
Yet we curse Your name
For we honor You not
Your creation we adore
How trivial our hearts
Petty and selfish
Corrupt and wicked
But You loved first
You sought first
So, we may love and seek after You
You have given final revelation
By Your Son, the founder of our salvation
Our bearer of sins
The Lord’s Supper
Remembrance of our sin bearer
The one in who we have confidence
The one we have rest
The one who intercedes
The one who saves
The one who proclaims
The one who rules
The one who conquers
In Him we share His life
His death
His resurrection
That glorious day
When He returns
Defeats death and presents the kingdom
We are expectantly faithful
We come to the marriage supper
For we wait for the Bridegroom
We wait to see You face to face
Oh, to hear Your words
"Well done, good and faithful slave"
In the new heavens and earth
To perfectly carry out our chief means
To bring glory to You and enjoy You forever and ever
Amen
